Wildfire Mitigation Measures

At Chubb, your safety and security are our top priorities

Pursuant to Oregon law, we are required to provide notice of any potential wildfire related mitigation efforts that may improve eligibility for coverage or rate/premium development. For Oregon homeowner's insurance consumers, eligibility for coverage may be improved if the insured residence has a roof constructed by a material other than wood and has a wildfire score between 10-23.

Chubb supports and encourages clients to proactively take wildfire mitigation efforts to reduce their risk of fire damage to home and property. For homeowner insurance policies issued or renewed on or after October 20, 2025, with Executive Risk Indemnity and Chubb National, discounts on wildfire premiums are available for qualifying mitigation efforts, up to the amounts indicated below. Participation in a community-level mitigation program does not currently impact eligibility or wildfire rate/premium development.

Discounts are not available for and do not apply to policies issued by Federal, Great Northern, or Pacific Indemnity underwriting companies.
