Sophie Riley is a Partner at AHT with 14 years of experience helping successful families insure their personal assets. Specializing in Private Risk Management, Sophie uses that experience to customize personal insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of her clients. Her expertise is in P&C insurance – reviewing policies such as homeowners, valuable articles, auto, watercraft, and personal umbrella (excess liability). A personal umbrella is the most important policy in a portfolio because it is a tool to protect a client’s assets, net worth, and future earning potential should they be found at fault in a catastrophic loss.

By focusing on advocacy and building lasting relationships with clients, Sophie has been able to put the B.A. she earned at Western Washington University to good use.

When she is not at AHT, Sophie is an avid international traveler and loves spending time with her husband and two young children at their home in Ballard. She currently serves on the Seattle Aquarium Auxiliary Board as the Vice Chair and is passionate about marine conservation. Sophie was born and raised on Orcas Island and continues to visit the San Juan Islands frequently with her family.
