How did Chubb’s Healthcare Industry Practice originate?
The Healthcare Industry Practice was the natural next step in the evolution of Chubb’s Medical Risk division. The Medical Risk team had tremendous experience selling medical professional liability policies to the healthcare industry, and once we were an established leader in that space, we started looking for opportunities to further deepen our expertise. Becoming the Healthcare Industry Practice was a natural next step in formalizing the way we sell and service the healthcare industry. Now we also work closely with other Chubb divisions, such as Financial Lines, Property, Environmental, and Cyber, to offer multi-line products and solutions to our healthcare customers. I am so proud to lead this team.

What is the Healthcare Industry Practice's top priority in 2023?
One of our main priorities this year is to implement a more uniform approach to cross selling the medical liability, financial lines, and property coverage to healthcare customers. With the help of the Chubb field, we are educating brokers and customers of our vast product offering and the benefits customers gain from a multi-line purchase with Chubb. Whenever we can offer the full breadth of Chubb products and services to customers, it becomes a more compelling sale and one that helps us retain customers over the longer term.
