Overview
This section will walk you through actions you will take on contracts as a vendor in Coupa. You will learn how to access a contract once it has been written up by Chubb, review the details of the contract, and submit any necessary updates that you want Chubb to make.
This section includes:
Accessing the Contract
1. Click the link to the contract
You will receive an email saying that a contract is ready for your review. Click Open Contract or the link pasted below.
2. Generate a One Time Password (OTP)
When you go to open the contract, there will be a pop up requiring you to enter an OTP to access the contract. Click Generate OTP and one will be sent to your email.
3. Coupa contracts collaboration
Upon entering your OTP, you will be in the Coupa contracts collaboration tool where you can download your contract for editing.
Contract Review and Edits
1. Download the contract
To the right of the screen, click open the Download Document dropdown menu.
2. Open the contract in Word
Click Download for Edit and open the contract in Word. Check that the document is in edit mode and make necessary edits.
3. Save edited contract
Once you have concluded editing, you will now need to save the document to upload back to the Coupa contracts collaboration tool.
Uploading the Contract to Coupa
1. Click the Upload tab
In the right-hand corner of the screen, click the Upload button and drop in the contract document you had just saved.
2. Check the document fields
If there are fields in the edited contract that have errors or need attention, you can view and resolve them under Fields
3. Add messages & attachments
4. Click Share to submit
Once the contract has been uploaded and any necessary messages or attachments have been added, click Share under the Counterparties tab. You can also invite another internal reviewer using the Add Party option.
