You're already benefiting from our comprehensive protection, but your home assessment helps us make sure you have the right replacement cost if something happens to your home. It provides a clear understanding of what it would take to rebuild your home — and helps us make sure what you pay reflects what you need.

A home assessment gives you a detailed record of your home's unique features and finishes so we can repair, restore, and replace your home's details in the event of a claim, with a claims experience that's as seamless as possible.

We'll also share optional tips and suggestions to help you further protect your home and prevent claims from happening in the first place.

Step 1

Scheduling Your Home Assessment

We'll get in touch by phone or email to schedule your home assessment with a Risk Consultant.

Please make sure your email address and phone numbers are added to your account. If you haven't already registered with our Client Portal, you can go to the login page to start the simple registration process. You'll need your policy number, but if you don't have it handy, you can always return to this page to complete your registration.


Step 2

During Your Home Assessment

With your help and by using technology, we'll carefully note your home's distinctive features.

  • We want to make sure that, should something happen, we can repair, restore, and replace the details that matter most in your home.
  • Feel free to ask your Risk Consultant any questions you may have about protecting your home. We've put together a few helpful thought-starters of what most clients want to know, which you can view here.


Step 3

After Your Home Assessment


  • You’ll receive a summary of your home assessment through your online Client Portal account, complete with your home's unique details.
  • You'll receive an email when it's ready for you to view. Take a moment to review your home assessment summary. If you have any questions, please contact your agent or broker.
  • Learn how your home’s replacement cost can differ from a recent home value or purchase price. Visit and access insight, real-life stories, testimonials, and more.

You can view your policy, pay your bill, or set up account notifications at any time. You'll need your policy or billing statement handy to complete the simple registration process. If you haven't received your policy yet, you can always return to this page to complete your registration.

Please note: You must be registered for the Client Portal to use this application.

*Paperless Policy is currently available only for Masterpiece policies (policy numbers containing 7, 8, or 10 digits) with these exceptions: yacht policies; automobile policies in Hawaii, Kentucky, New Jersey and Virginia; policies in North Carolina except for Masterpiece Excess Liability; Texas Homeowners, and PAF policies expatriate.
