To help enable a safe return to business travel, Chubb has developed a new Travel and Health Assessment tool in partnership with Charles Taylor Assistance.

Available via the award-winning Chubb Travel Smart app, the tool is included as standard for clients of the Marsh Personal Accident and Business Travel Facility, and provides the following benefits: 

  • A real-time assessment of COVID-19 travel risk for specific destination countries
  • A personalised assessment of the risk of developing COVID-19 infection and the impact on existing health conditions
  • Practical guidance on the steps that should be taken to reduce risk and travel safe

Complimentary access to Best Doctors second medical opinion service is also included with your policy. Best Doctors second medical opinion service, providing expert second medical opinions from a network of over 50,000 world leading medical practitioners. Best Doctors will arrange for medical notes to be reviewed by one of their medical experts who will provide a detail report highlighting the appropriate treatment and what to expect.

Secure Document Storage

We also provide an online secure document storage facility where business travellers can upload copies of their travel documentation to a secure area that they can access from anywhere in the world should they lose any of their travel documentation. This can prove invaluable if for example a business traveller has loses their passport and can help to speed up the process of providing replacement documentation.

Home Emergency Advice

If an insured person has a home emergency, such as a burst pipe, broken window or leaking roof, they can call our helpline to get assistance in finding a reliable and suitable tradesperson to fix the problem. The insured life is responsible for paying for the cost of any work done by a recommended tradesperson.
