Overview
Chubb contributes to local charities and non-profits in a wide variety of areas including education, disaster preparedness, the environment, health and human services, military veterans and at-risk children.
We support employee giving and volunteerism with a variety of programs, encouraging the development of initiatives that reflect our employees’ commitment to the needs in their local and regional communities.
During a ‘Week of Giving’ in May, Chubb employees throughout EMEA will come together to engage in volunteer activities focused on supporting local communities in which they live and work in.
Example activities
Here are some of the activities Chubb employees will be involved in during the ‘Week of Giving’
Support a local Dog’s Trust
As well as spending time with the dogs, such as taking them for a walk, volunteers in the UK will also do some gardening, fence painting, and clear out the kennels.
Make bracelets to support vulnerable children
In Türkiye, employees will spend some time making bracelets for a charity to sell. The money will then go towards helping children with cerebral palsies.
Build nesting sites for wild bees
A group of volunteers will build a sand bed for wild bees on a green field in Switzerland.
Litter picking at a beach
Volunteers will pick up litter at a beach in the Netherlands to prevent it from reaching the ocean.
