Jide Akingbade leads the Enterprise Risk Management function in EMEA, ensuring the effective execution of Chubb’s risk strategies and processes across the region.
Jide was previously Deputy Regional Chief Risk Officer. He has over 19 years of insurance industry experience and joined Chubb (then ACE) in 2006 as Sarbanes Accountant, later becoming Financial Compliance Manager before moving into the Risk Management function in 2008 and was appointed as EMEA Head of Risk Management in 2012 . Earlier in his career, he worked in assurance and advisory roles at Arthur Andersen and EY.
Jide holds a B.Sc. (Food Science & Technology) from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
