AcciCare Protection Plan
Overview
Accidents are unpredictable and unavoidable and thus it is essential you are adequately prepared. Even a minor accident can cause unexpected complications and expense if your conventional plan fails to provide you with adequate cover.
AcciCare Protection Plan - a one-stop-shop care plan providing protection in the event of accident anywhere in the world. From accidental death or disablement to a minor injury requiring medical attention or hospitalization, you can be assured of comprehensive financial assistance, its benefits are guaranteed to provide protection above and beyond a typical accident protection plan.
- A one-stop shop that provides protection in the event of an accident anywhere in the world.
- Protection ranges from Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement Benefit1 to a minor injury that requires medical attention or hospitalization.
- If you suffer an accidental injury while traveling overseas2, in an elevator, on public transport or in a burning public building, the Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement Benefit will be doubled.
- Reimbursement of medical expenses for in-patient and out-patient treatment as a result of injury, including Chinese bonesetting3, chiropractor and physiotherapy treatment4.
- Upon hospitalization due to accident, a daily cash benefit will be payable up to 365 days.
- Regardless of the cause, AcciCare provides Compassionate Death Benefit in the event of fatality during the policy term.
- Travel overseas with the knowledge that an emergency medical assistance service that provides medical evacuation and/or repatriation in the event of serious medical conditions due to injury is available wherever you may be.
Remarks:
- It is payable according to the Schedule of Benefits.
- It is only applicable for trips that are not longer than 30 days.
- The maximum limit per accident for an injury without fractures is HK$500 while it is HK$1,000 for an injury with fractures. The maximum amount payable per policy year is HK$1,500.
- The first physiotherapy treatment visit per accident requires a referral letter from a Registered Medical Practitioner. The maximum amount payable per policy year is HK$2,500.
