According to an online survey conducted by local organization “Concern for Grassroots’ Livelihood Alliance Limited”, where they interviewed 220 young people between July and August 2021, 51.4% of respondents said that they are currently or have been a slasher, while 67.3% of respondents said they intend to become a slasher and devote themselves to this emerging work model.
