An update from Chris Hand

November 2025

Hi everyone

We’re officially on the home stretch to the end of the year. It feels like summer is finally here.

I hope it’s been a productive and rewarding month for you all and the loosening of interest rates is starting to provide a welcome relief for your customers. Q4 is often one of the busiest for us at Chubb Life, and this year is no exception. Add to that 2026 planning, announcing the winner of our Summer of Love customer competition, plus engagement events leading up to Christmas  – time is flying by for me, as I’m sure it is for you too.

Making it easier for you

We want to make your experience with us as seamless and efficient as possible, so we’re going to share a top tip each month to help you get the best service experience, making it even easier to do business with us.

Our top tip of the month:  First Time-Save Time

This month’s tip is around how we’re using automation to respond to your emails. We’ve compiled a list of keywords for you. All you need to do is include these in your email subject line to ensure your email gets to the right person the first time, to save time. Read our list of key words.

Thank you for your patience

Over the past month, business volumes have continued to grow. Thank you for trusting us to look after for your customers. What this did mean however, was that some of you may have experienced a delay of an extra day or two. Rest assured our Underwriting team is committed to processing your applications as quickly as possible. They’ve been working around the clock - and even on weekends - to provide the service you deserve.

Providing an exceptional service for you and your customers is our priority. As always, keep that feedback coming. Your Business Partnership Managers, Regional Managers, key operations contacts and myself would love to know if you have any ideas about how we could improve.

Summer love for our winners

Our Summer of Love competition to get two lucky New Zealanders to the 2026 Australian Open has come to a close and I’m pleased to announce our lucky winners are Corey and Cara Woodward from Red Beach in Auckland.

Our Summer of Love campaign reminds us that love drives life’s biggest decisions – getting married, buying a home, starting a business, starting a family – it’s why we do what we do and why your role is vital to supporting people to have those option. Thank you to everyone who supported this promotion by sharing it with their customers in October.

Keep your eyes peeled, we’re not done with the campaign just yet. We have some exciting social media content planned with some of our homegrown tennis stars.

That’s all from me for now. If you have any questions please get in touch with your Business Partnership Manager, they’ll be happy to help.
