Chubb Support Social Initiatives and Financial Literacy in Kampung Nelayan
On December 9, 2025, PT Chubb General Insurance Indonesia (Chubb General) and PT Asuransi Chubb Syariah Indonesia (Chubb Syariah) demonstrated their commitment to supporting the community through their annual social initiative, this time the program was conducted in collaboration with the Cangkring Community in Kampung Nelayan, Kalibaru Timur, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
The Cangkring Community is known for processing green mussel shell waste into value-added products, such as paving blocks. This initiative not only helps reduce environmental waste but also creates opportunities for economic improvement for local residents.
During this event, representatives from the board of directors and 25 volunteers from Chubb General and Chubb Syariah were present to symbolically hand over donations to the Cangkring Community and local residents. The donation consisted of paving block moulding materials, and a blower machine unit, which are expected to support the development of the shell waste processing business.
In addition to the donation handover, the volunteers actively participated in various activities with the community, including assisting in the paving block production process and conducting educational sessions on financial management. The event was filled with enthusiasm and excitement from both the volunteers and the residents of Kampung Nelayan.
We hope this social initiative will provide lasting benefits in preserving the environment and encouraging sustainable waste management practices. This commitment is part of Chubb General and Chubb Syariah’s ongoing efforts to contribute to community and environmental development, as well as to strengthen relationships with local communities.

Demonstrate Commitment to Environmental Conservation for Local Community in KSS Beach
PT Chubb General Insurance Indonesia (Chubb Indonesia) and PT Asuransi Chubb Syariah Indonesia (Chubb Syariah) collaborated to support financial literacy and environmental conservation initiatives for local community at KSS Beach, Sukawali Village, Tangerang.
The event brings together two primary objectives: the enhancement of economic well-being through financial literacy and the preservation of nature. The two collaborate to promote environmental awareness and create a more economically independent society.
By planting 500 mangrove trees at KSS Beach Tangerang, Chubb General and Chubb Syariah collaborated with Lindungi Hutan along with Kelompok Kampung Bahari Nusantara on this reforestation initiative which actively engaged in the planning process of the maintenance of mangrove plants in the future.
As part of its commitment to enhancing financial literacy for local communities, Chubb General and Chubb Syariah held a financial literacy for 50 SMEs in KSS Beach.
Chubb General and Chubb Syariah Deliver Financial Literacy Session to Binus International
5 June 2024, PT Chubb General Insurance Indonesia (Chubb General) and PT Asuransi Chubb Syariah Indonesia (Chubb Syariah) participated in a financial literacy session for the students of Binus International, Jakarta. This event was designed to equip students with essential financial skills and knowledge, as well as increase the awareness about insurance and introduced Chubb’s insurance products in general.
