Chubb commissioned a global survey of the impact of Covid-19 on business travel. Among the findings for the Asia Pacific region, in comparison with other regions in the world, are:
- Business travelers’ overall job effectiveness was most negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and related travel restrictions compared to other regions. As a result, client and business partner relationships have suffered, in particular, the ability to develop new business/make new sales.
- Nevertheless, Asia Pacific business travelers are the most anxious about traveling for business (74%).
- Asia Pacific business travelers also express the highest level of trust in airlines.
