The “Essential Underwriting Guide” is your simplified go-to reference point for all the must-have information we believe you’ll need when applying for cover with Chubb Life.
The guide is now available on Adviser Hub.
Updated guidelines now available
As part of this release, we’ve also updated a number of our guidelines to make it even easier for you to do business with us.
The updates include:
- Changes to support customers taking out Assurance Extra Business Monthly Disability Cover, including the ability to assess up to $6,000 monthly benefit without proof of financials.
- Increased Replacement Ratios are now available for customers taking out Assurance Extra Income Protection Cover – Indemnity.
- The maximum level of Complete Disablement Cover for dependents aged 16-18 has been increased from $250,000 to $500,000.
- The maximum level of Trauma Cover for homemakers has also been increased from $500,000 to $1,000,000.
- Finally, as announced last month, we’ve made a number of improvements to our non-medical limits and changes to medical codes – these include reducing the number of medical code categories and removing several mandatory testing requirements.
