Hi everyone
To put it simply, it’s been an ace month here at Chubb Life. We’ve launched an exciting partnership with the Australian Open including a competition to get a lucky customer to the tennis. We’ve also unveiled a brand-new website for our Group Insurance offering and welcomed a new Business Partnership Manager to the team, so there’s been plenty to keep us busy.
We launched our Summer of Love campaign a few weeks ago, coming on board as the official Life Insurance partner for the Australian Open. Hopefully some of you managed to grab early access tickets.
This is a very exciting moment for us. As part of the campaign, we’re running a special competition. Every customer who submits an Assurance Extra application between now and 31 October goes in the draw to win a trip for two to the tennis. There’s never been a better reason to rally your customers.
We’ll be telling more Kiwis about our partnership with the Australian Open in the coming months and launching some exciting content with New Zealand tennis stars James Watt and Finn Reynolds, so watch this space.
It’s easier than ever to sell Group Insurance, as this month we launched our new webpage which outlines our Group Insurance offering. The new page includes customer FAQs as well as a customer profile featuring Dave Jensen, who kept his business running after a bad mountain biking crash thanks to his Group cover.
If you want to understand more about how Group Insurance can make a valuable addition to your portfolio, we’d love to chat. Please get in touch with Senior Group Business Development Manager Beth Marshall on 021 465 491 or by email Beth.Marshall@Chubb.com
From 20 October, we’ll be making some changes to the way we calculate our commission clawbacks. Currently clawbacks are calculated as a percentage of the total upfront commission paid, based on the number of premiums a customer has paid over a 24-month period.
From later this month, they'll be calculated based on the number of months elapsed since the start date of the new policy or benefit. This slight adjustment is designed to create a more streamlined and transparent process.
For all of you in the South Island, I want to introduce you to the newest member of our team. James Dunbar is joining us as Business Partnership Manager in the South Island. James is Christchurch born and bred and will be working closely with those of you who are based from Mid Canterbury down to Invercargill. Welcome James.
That’s all from me for now. If you have any questions please get in touch with your Business Partnership Manager, they’ll be happy to help.
