What We Look For

There are many things we take into consideration when reviewing applications. Your skills and experience are only one part. We’re equally interested in finding out how you approach your work, to what extent you are able to demonstrate our values and whether you have the drive to succeed.

What to Expect

During the selection process, we’ll talk to you about the role and the company and ask you about your successes, challenges and career ambitions. This is important so that we can see how you might fit into and grow within Chubb European Group.

You should be prepared to talk about yourself, your career and your point of view on current market trends and industry developments. We want to get to know you as an individual and discover your strengths and attributes. It is important to be yourself.

You’ll have plenty of opportunity to explore the role you could play in our organisation and to meet the people you’d be working with.

Q: How will I know if my application has been successful?

Our dedicated resourcing team reviews all CVs that are sent. Should your skills and experience match the role profile a member of the team will be in touch to discuss the role further.

Q: What do I need to provide in support of my application?

Your CV is an important part of your application. A good covering letter outlining why you are appropriate for the role can also go a long way to helping the resourcing team assess your fit with the role.

Q: How long does the recruitment process normally take?

The length of our recruitment process can vary, depending on factors such as the time of year, seniority of the role and whether or not an assessment center is involved. We will try to be clear with you upfront about how long you should expect the process to take for the specific role you are applying for.

Q: How should I prepare for my interview?

We’d advise you to do as much research into Chubb as you can. This isn’t just useful preparation for the interview but will also give you more confidence and help you decide whether we are a good fit for you. Learn more about Chubb in Europe, Eurasia & Africa.

Q: Can you assist me to obtain a visa or work permit?

We welcome applications from everyone, but you’ll need to have the right to work in the country you are applying to. If you don’t currently have the right to work in that country, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to help you secure a visa or work permit.
