Tonya E. Scott Savage

Tonya E. Scott Savage is senior employment counsel and attorney in the Employment Practice Group in the Dallas office of Chubb Insurance, with more than 20 years of experience advising organizations on complex labor and employment matters. She represents clients in high-stakes litigation and agency proceedings involving discrimination, wage and hour compliance, and workplace disputes, and is a trusted advisor to leadership on risk management and regulatory compliance.

Previously, Tonya served as Deputy Chief Counsel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she led nationwide employment litigation and counseled senior executives. She also held the role of Assistant General Counsel at the United States Postal Service. Tonya began her legal career as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where she tried more than 60 cases as both prosecutor and defense counsel. Renowned for her strategic insight and strong advocacy, she consistently aligns legal strategy with business objectives to deliver exceptional results.

A Louisiana native, Tonya’s favorite city is New Orleans. If not practicing law, she would be traveling the world in search of exceptional cuisine—or hosting a talk show.
