Dan Kalter

Dan Kalter is an attorney in the Employment Practices Liability Group at the Florida House Counsel firm of McGuinness & Cicero. Before joining Chubb’s House Counsel, Mr. Kalter practiced labor and employment law at a large international firm, where he represented clients in a wide range of matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida, as well as before administrative agencies. His experience includes litigating claims involving sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and minimum wage and overtime issues in individual and collective actions under federal, state, and local laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Florida Civil Rights Act, and the Florida Minimum Wage Act, as well as various related common law claims. Mr. Kalter has handled matters at all stages of litigation and has resolved many disputes through informal settlement discussions and mediation.
