San Diego. Mark D. Shields concentrates his practice in the areas of products liability, premises liability and property and casualty cases, including catastrophic personal injuries. He also has experience defending commercial and residential construction and real property disputes, professional liability actions, complex business litigation in cases involving trade secret misappropriation and class action lawsuits.
Mr. Shields regularly handles wrongful death cases as well as cases involving burn injuries, quadriplegia, paraplegia and limb amputation. Some of the subjects of the cases he has defended include a suit against a manufacturer by a plaintiff alleging burn and brain injuries, a mass casualty suit against a contractor involving wrongful death and paralysis claims and a suit against a manufacturer involving amputation.
