Julie Richard is Regional Manager, Chubb Tempest Re Canada. In her role, Julie is responsible for the management and business results for all reinsurance operations in Canada. She reports to Michael O’Donnell, Division President, Chubb Tempest Re USA.
Julie joined Chubb Tempest Re in 2022 with more than 30 years of industry experience both in reinsurance and primary insurance. Prior to joining the company, she was property & casualty facultative Branch Manager for over 10 years at General Reinsurance Corporation. Julie started her career at Chubb Insurance Company of Canada and has held various roles with increasing responsibility, leading to manager of the Montreal Energy and Property, Machinery & Marine department.
Julie received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Concordia University.
