Jonathan Levy is senior litigation counsel in the Chubb Legal Services group that operates out of Toronto, Ontario.
After graduating from law school in 2006, Jonathan articled with a corporate and commercial law firm in Vancouver, British Columbia where he was called to the bar in 2007. Following a short period of practice in Vancouver, Jonathan moved to Toronto in 2008 where he was called to the Ontario bar and practiced as a commercial litigator at one of Canada’s largest corporate law firms. Over his first 10 years of practice Jonathan acted as litigation counsel for institutional and corporate clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Securities Commission and Alberta Court of Appeal. During this period, Jonathan gained a range of experience litigating corporate and commercial disputes, professional negligence claims and representing clients in a variety of regulatory proceedings.
Since joining Chubb in 2016, Jonathan has built a practice defending Chubb’s corporate and individual insurance clients in a range of litigation matters arising from personal injury claims, property damage losses and product liability disputes. Jonathan also represents Chubb’s corporate insureds in defence of employment and wrongful dismissal claims. In his practice, Jonathan maintains focus on achieving positive outcomes for Chubb’s insurance clients and helping them navigate the litigation process with minimal disruption to their core business and personal lives.
