Choosing a Device For Your Home

Help protect your home and prevent issues from happening in the first place

Installed by a plumber directly onto your water line, a flow-based water leak detection device monitors the flow of water throughout your home. If an unusual activity or flow of water is detected – probably caused by a leak somewhere in your plumbing or pipes – the device is designed to alert you first and then shut off your water supply to help minimize damage.

Devices to help protect your home from water damage

To choose the water shut-off device that works for you, consider one of the Chubb-preferred devices shown below. If you have questions, you can reach out to a Chubb Water Specialist at prsrisksolutions@chubb.com.

By being a Chubb client, you are eligible to receive a discount on the device and may be eligible to receive a discount on your Chubb homeowner's insurance policy.

Hiring a licensed plumber who has experience with automatic shut-off devices can assist in identifying the potential impact to these systems and appliances. Proper setup of your water shut-off device can help protect the mechanical systems and appliances in your home and limit false alerts while monitoring your home for abnormal water use.
