Jeremy Cole joined Chubb in April 2012 with six years’ experience of managing the risk engineering programmes of major casualty accounts at a large Lloyd’s syndicate.
Jeremy joined the insurance market from the Cabinet Office where he was a policy manager, advising ministers on regulatory policy.
His background is as a health and safety inspector for the HSE, specialising in the polymers, fibres, food manufacturing and entertainment sectors, and in the public health department of a local health authority, where he researched human factors in accident causation.

Account Manager, Employers Liability Specialist
Robert joined Chubb in 2004 after five years working for a global broker delivering solutions that enabled clients in a wide range of industry sectors to control the costs of employer’s liability insurance. Prior to that he spent 10 years as an HSE inspector specialising in improving safety management systems in complex public sector organisations such as the NHS, MoD and Emergency Services.
Robert now works in partnership with our clients and brokers to deliver customised services that support our mutual interest in preventing losses and controlling liability claim costs.
He also leads Chubb's delivery of IOSH accredited health and safety training. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Health & Safety, is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and European Occupational Safety and Health Manager.

Karl joined Chubb in 1996 and has over 35 years experience in the insurance industry which includes 25 years in Risk Engineering.
Karl undertakes all manner of property and casualty evaluations and specialises in providing risk management advice on accounts where there is a products liability, occupational safety and health, or environmental liability bias.
Karl has a Masters Degree in Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management, has completed the Chartered Insurance Institute’s ACCI qualification and is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner.

Alan started his career as a Highly Protected Risk (HPR) risk engineer for a major global insurer. He has held risk engineering, risk management and business continuity positions with insurers, brokers and clients for over 20 years before joining Chubb in 2015. He has expertise across a broad range of industries and territories globally. Alan has a Master’s degree in Process Safety and Loss Prevention, is a Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, a NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist and is an Associate Member of the Business Continuity Institute.

Ian started his career in a technical support/R&D role in the nuclear reprocessing industry in Cumbria. After gaining his engineering degree he moved into production management at British Steel. For the last 22 years he has worked in various risk engineering roles for major highly protected risks (HPR) and global property risk insurers. He joined Chubb in 2006 and represents Chubb on the RISCAuthority sprinkler and building products working groups.

Paul began work as a commercial property underwriter for a UK tariff office before going on to specialise in property risk engineering. After gaining extensive in-depth experience with a major global insurance company and broking house he joined Chubb in 1996. Paul has supplemented his working knowledge with qualifications: NEBOSH Health & Safety certificate and is also a MIOSH Chartered Health & Safety Practitioner. Paul now has responsibility for the property and casualty risk engineering function for EMEA.

Francesca graduated with a BEng(Hons) First Class degree in Aerospace Engineering and gained valuable engineering experience within high capital expenditure projects, before joining the insurance industry in 2008. She has previously worked for 2 major global insurers, initially as a graduate plan review engineer, before further developing her role as a consultant risk engineer, providing property risk engineering services on highly protected risks (HPR) for a variety of medium to large multinational accounts in a diverse range of industries and countries. After holding property risk engineering positions in both insurance carriers and brokers, he joined Chubb in 2014. Rhodri has experience of servicing high value multi-national accounts in a wide range of industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, heavy industry and retail risks. Tom is Property & Casualty Risk Engineering Services Manager for UK/ Ireland. Tom has worked for Chubb 27 years in a number of International and UK based roles. Prior to joining Chubb Tom was within the Risk Management Unit of a major international broking house and with a UK composite insurer.

Alan has 22 years insurance experience having been with Chubb Risk Engineering since 2002. Working across a broad range of property and casualty accounts, with specific technical expertise in security & flood exposures and is a Level 1 certified infrared thermographer.

Claire is a property and casualty risk engineer, based in Scotland and has held her current role since joining Chubb in November 2012. Prior to joining Chubb, Claire worked in an underwriting capacity and with a risk management consultancy specialising in business continuity management.
Claire’s role involves completing general property and casualty evaluations, as well as providing consultancy advice. Claire also undertakes errors and omissions risk evaluations, including providing advice to clients on contract and project management and information security risk management. David’s career spans both the insurance and industry sectors, specialising in health and safety, but with considerable experience of other related disciplines, including material damage, security and casualty surveys.
Having worked in the insurance Industry since 1994 in a risk engineering role, David’s experience includes the role of risk manager for the “Eurostar” rail project, and the construction industry as an Assistant Divisional Safety Officer for a large engineering contractor. Senior Risk Engineer
Graham is one of our senior and multi-skilled property and casualty risk engineers based in our Glasgow office. He joined Chubb in 2000, having previously worked for a major insurer in a risk engineering role since the early 1990’s.
As a senior property specialist, Graham was responsible for establishing Chubb’s European property protection strategy for risk engineering, leading a team of property specialists and acting as a key consultant to Chubb’s executive specialists and EU management team. He is able to support both our internal and external clients requiring cross disciplinary tailored risk engineering services.

Jack is a property & casualty risk engineer based in London, joining Chubb in 2015 following 3 years as property risk engineer with a major global broker, where he was engaged in risk evaluation, fire engineering design and risk improvement for ordinary and high hazard risks.

Property & Casualty Risk Engineer
Geraldine is a multi-disciplined Property and Casualty Risk Engineer based out of the Dublin office. She worked within Chubb for three and a half years as a personal lines appraiser before joining Loss Control Services in 2002. Geraldine carries out a broad range of risk engineering evaluations across a wide range of industries, and is also qualified as a level one Infrared Thermographer, undertaking thermographic condition monitoring surveys on electrical systems and machinery.
Geraldine’s qualifications and memberships include Honours Diploma in Auctioneering, Valuations and Estate Agency, B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Surveying from Trinity College, Dublin and the NEBOSH Certificate In Health and Safety. She is a member of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
