This sanctuary is home to Indochinese tigers that were raised in captivity, thus they are more approachable and friendlier to humans. You can actually sit beside one in the cage and have your photo taken (no selfies are allowed, though) by the resident photographer. The sanctuary also hosts two restaurants. Have lunch or dinner while watching the tigers play.

This famous viewpoint is usually flocked by tourists thanks to its picturesque view of the blue Andaman Sea and the crisp white sandy shores. The Karon View Point is best visited at dawn and just before sunset, although you have to find a spot that’s not as crowded as the main view deck. As you will be hiking, be mindful of the journey as sturdy shoes are highly recommended to avoid falls or slips.
