As Official Insurance Partner for the Australian Open, Chubb’s logo was broadcast to millions of Australian and international viewers throughout the tournament.
More than 3.3m people tuned in to watch Kyrgios vs Nadal, outrating the top Australian sporting events of 2019, including the Rugby League State of Origin and the AFL Grand Final.
Hundreds of thousands of tennis fans also experienced Chubb’s AO partnership on site.

As part of the sponsorship, from 20 January to 2 February, we hosted brokers, business partners, agents and clients from across Asia Pacific, inviting them to join Chubb at the tennis. It was a popular invite with guests enjoying the Grand Slam tennis action in Rod Laver Arena while also networking in the Chubb suite nearby. To support the first year of our partnership with Australian Open, we launched a new advertising campaign, with the theme ‘All We Do is Insurance’. This included TV commercials playing throughout the duration of the AO tournament along with advertising on social media, on websites and via the Australian Open app. The ads were lighthearted and comical and received a very positive response from our customers and partners.
