We’ll pay you a lump sum if you or a key person dies or is diagnosed with a terminal illness.

The first step in making an insurance claim is to contact Chubb Life directly. Our team will guide you through the claims process, beginning with giving you clear information on your policy and sending out any required forms for your claim.

Chubb Life will meet the medical costs involved if we have requested medical information from your doctor, or if we have asked for a blood test or specific examination. If, however, you're already scheduled to have a specific test, or are due for a review of a medical condition which would ordinarily occur with your doctor, the cost will be your responsibility to meet.
The service must be approved by Chubb Life before the benefit is carried out to/on the policy owner, life assured or dependent child. Once pre-approval is provided to the policy owner, life assured or dependent child, it's the responsibility of the policy owner or life assured to make an appointment and provide Chubb Life the invoice.
The policy owner and/or life assured must produce a GST receipt for the appointment in order for the claim to be paid by Chubb Life. Please ensure the invoice is made out to Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand (Chubb Life) with a reference to the claimant’s name, policy number and condition.
Benefits are approved at Chubb Life's discretion.
Chubb Life reserves the right to change, remove or add benefits without notice.
