Stephanie A. Cantrell is an attorney in the Financial Lines Practice Group of the Chicago House Counsel firm of Schueler, Dallavo & Casieri. Prior to joining Chubb's House Counsel, Ms. Cantrell spent twelve years as an in-house attorney with a nationally-recognized real estate development company where she served as Vice President and Associate Counsel. In 2008, Stephanie joined a small litigation firm where she practiced employment as well as personal injury litigation. In addition, she regularly advised her clients on the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures, the negotiation of separation and employment agreements and benefit plan compliance.
Ms. Cantrell joined the firm of Schueler, Dallavo & Casieri in November 2009 and currently represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, with particular emphasis on defending harassment and discrimination claims in federal court under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Stephanie also has a proven track record of routinely and successfully handling state and administrative claims before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division as well as other state and local agencies throughout the Midwest.
In addition to her extensive employment experience, Stephanie also represents clients in cases related to fair housing and directors' and officers' liability litigation.
