Group Accidental Death and Disablement Insurance provides an insured with comprehensive coverage in the event of an accident, by subscribing to this policy, employees and their loved ones will receive a lump sum payment in the event of a death or a total permanent disability caused by an accident, up to an amount stated by Chubb.

Insurance Benefits

  • Death Benefit In the event of death caused by an accident (not exceeding 90 days from the time of accident), the insured will receive a lump sum payout of the sum assured.
  • Total Permanent Disability In the event of a loss of severance or loss of use of a limb or body function resulting from an accident, the insured will receive lump sum payment equivalent to a percentage of the sum assured as stated below:

The maximum sum for a claim on a permanent disability listed in this table is IDR 50,000,000. 

Note: For left-handers, the conditions stated regarding the right will apply to the left instead.

The following provisions apply:

  1. The loss of a thumb is defined as a loss of 2 joints from the same thumb. The loss of (one) mother fingers is defined as the loss of 2 (two) finger joints and about 2 (two) joints.
  2. The total lump sum payment for the benefits listed in the table above must not exceed 100% of the sum assured.
  3. A Total Permanent Disability claim for a lost limb can only be made at least 180 calendar days after the diagnosis of the condition.
