Are you an experienced Claims Adjuster? Do you have knowledge across Energy, Power & Technical Lines? If so, this is an ideal opportunity to join our Energy team in London.
As Senior Claims Adjuster you will assess and handle a portfolio of claims within the Energy, Power and Technical Lines. You will responsible for accurately assessing and managing genuine claims in accordance with standard level agreements & specific delegated authority.
Managing a portfolio of claims as per account requirements.
Assessing & evaluating policy liability and calculating reserve exposures, assessing settlement values of claims.
Negotiating settlement of claims to successful conclusion. This may involve policy holders, other professionals, insurers, loss adjusters, brokers, solicitors and third parties by letter, telephone or meeting
Building and maintaining client relationships and looking after key accounts which include providing timely and clear response.
You will create and manage documented files utilising corporate mainframe and other claims department systems. Maintaining these through the use of diary, logs, and monitoring tools.
Representing Chubb and the department at internal and external meetings including review meetings with brokers and / or policy holders. Where required, deputise for senior colleagues.
Acting as a technical resource and provide guidance on the claims assessment process to junior colleagues to ensure claims handling is a consistent process. To provide mentoring, training and coaching where appropriate.
Working within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards. To fulfil, compliance and regulatory requirements (including complaints procedure).

Comprehensive understanding & working knowledge of each of the specialist product lines, insurance market & competitors.
Solid experience of dealing with brokers & clients, with ability to build positive relationships
May have ACII qualification, with considerable market experience. Continues to develop technical and broader business skills.
Demonstration of practical and common sense approach to dealing with situations.
Ability to make own decisions and work on own initiative.
An experienced professional who is recognised externally.
