The main purpose of the role is to develop, support and execute tactics to achieve the ambitious growth targets of the A&H Corporate business development across the CE region within the CE A&H Corporate strategy by:

• developing plans and taking responsibility and ownership of the execution of the Corporate strategy plan in close cooperation with Regional Head of Corporate and Distribution, A&H Managers, local corporate teams, underwriting and other stakeholders at local, regional and at COG level

• developing strategy and tactics for the SME strategy in the A&H Corporate segment, taking responsibility and ownership of the execution of this plan and work close together with SME segment leaders and corporate teams at local, regional and COG level

1. A&H Corporate Business development

o Develop with local teams their Corporate business development plans, including broker plans and cross selling initiatives and follow, monitor and support them in the execution

o Optimise and contribute in the A&H MN business development activities by  developing the best practise in pitches for the MN A&H total value proposition, operate as central point of contact to escalation and main issues around Multinational/Global Service Unit

2. Initiate, lead and coordinate projects for new product/market initiatives across the region

o Initiate new local/regional product development initiatives in close cooperation with local and/or regional underwriting and business development teams.

o Initiate new local/regional distribution initiatives in close cooperation with local and/or regional S&D and A&H business development teams.

o Create good market knowledge and market understanding for the CE Region (regional and individual markets) by market studies, market surveys, develop external network (brokers, consultants, business partners) and use in- and external data resources to create a broad market scope which will help to develop an adequate A&H Corporate strategy

o Drive, lead, coordinate the execution of the projects within timelines agreed to realise successful launches of the new initiatives

3. A&H Corporate SME segment leader

o Leading the A&H Corporate SME segment; working close together with Regional SME segment leader and local teams to develop strategy and action plan to grow the SME segment massively in the next 3 years

o Develop and execute Chubb Easy action plan in relevant countries

4. Marketing support

o Develop in cooperation with Marketing and Communication commercial and marketing material required to promote Corporate value proposition

o Create the best practise for and with the local business development teams in the management of RFPs, prospecting clients  and management of current accounts

5. Training

o Identification of needs of expertise and training in local teams and support in the development and execution of these trainings

6. Coordinate, manage, report, initiate improvement of business development management controls, KPIs dashboards and reporting tools of all relevant metrics to measure productivity, the Corporate pipeline, liaison and coordination with S&D leaders in charge, A&H Operations and IT business analysts and development teams in charge

It requires dealing with the following clusters/countries, daily communications and frequent business travels: France, Nordics, Germany/Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Iberia, Italy, PCH.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Develop and support/manage business development initiatives, including being a key contributor to prospecting, pipeline and account management

2. Develop and maintain working relationship with all contributors to the A&H corporate business development in the local teams of the CE region and functions supporting the business development including Global service units, operations, finance, IT

3. Use all aspects of business analysis to get information, gather and share knowledge, assist business development projects, compile data and provide business reports

• Management of the A&H MN pipeline, liaison and coordination with S&D leaders in charge, A&H Operations and IT business analysts and development teams in charge

• Contribution to other A&H Corporate regional projects, such as:

o new product development and launch

o new distribution initiatives

o improvement of business development management controls, KPIs dashboards and reporting tools

It requires dealing with the following clusters/countries, daily communications and frequent business travels: France, Nordics, Germany/Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Iberia, Italy, PCH.

Qualifications: 

Business School Degree, insurance training, commercial experience

Languages:  

English – fluent. Other languages are an advantage, more specifically French, Spanish and German.

Experience:  .

5 years experience in the Corporate A&H insurances at an insurer company or at a broker.  At least 2 year experience of A&H business development.

Cross border/international projects experience.

Experience in consulting and/or managing multinational programs is a plus.
