Choosing a Device For Your Home

Help protect your home and prevent issues from happening in the first place

Installed by a plumber directly onto your water line, a flow-based water leak detection device monitors the flow of water throughout your home. If an unusual activity or flow of water is detected – probably caused by a leak somewhere in your plumbing or pipes – the device is designed to alert you first and then shut off your water supply to help minimize damage.

When reviewing options for a new automatic water shut-off device, consider your plumbing needs and the impact of shutting off water to various mechanical systems and appliances in your home. Hiring a licensed plumber who has experience with automatic shut-off devices can assist in identifying the potential impact to these systems and appliances. Proper setup of your water shut-off device can help protect the mechanical systems and appliances in your home and limit false alerts while monitoring your home for abnormal water use.
