Rebekah Barnes is the Excess Liability Manager for Chubb Bermuda International (CBI). She is responsible for managing the existing Excess Liability book and driving new business growth within the Chubb Overseas General region.
Rebekah's dedication to the field of insurance spans over a decade. After graduating from Temple University’s Fox School of Business with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Rebekah joined Chubb in 2011 in her hometown of Philadelphia.
During her eight years at Chubb, Rebekah has held various roles across the organization. She spent the first two years of her career handling reinsurance claims for multinational captive programs, subsequently transitioning to the underwriting side of the business in 2013. Since then, Rebekah has specialized in Umbrella and Excess Liability underwriting in the Corporate and Global Accounts sectors.
In 2017, Rebekah was one of eleven employees invited to join the inaugural class of Chubb’s Global Development Program, which was created to foster a new crop of global leadership talent through tailored work assignments across the world.
Rebekah holds both The Institutes’ Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
