Chubb has announced two internal promotions within the NSW branch Property team.
Simon Stevenson has been appointed to the role of Property Manager, NSW while Conrad Gordon has been appointed as Deputy Property Manager, NSW.
Both Simon and Conrad bring a proven track record of success, strong market relationships and underwriting acumen to their new roles. Together they will lead the Property underwriting team for the NSW branch.
Simon’s experience with the Independent Broker Unit and Conrad’s deep knowledge of Chubb's global broking partners will be crucial as Chubb continues to enhance its distribution activities and underwriting service delivery through both channels.
These appointments follow the promotion of Adrian Habils to the role of Deputy Property Manager, A&NZ.

Simon Stevenson joined Chubb in May 2016 as an IBU Property Underwriter, NSW and was promoted to the role of Senior Underwriter, Property in November 2017. As IBU Distribution Manager, Property he has led a high performing team and managed Chubb's distribution activities for independent brokers in NSW since May 2018. Prior to Chubb Simon held underwriting roles at other major insurers in Australia where he was responsible for servicing global brokers. |

Conrad Gordon is enjoying his second stint with Chubb after serving as a Property & Marine Underwriter in Western Australia from 2014 to 2016. In 2016 he moved to Dubai where he held the role of Client Services Manager at a P&I Mutual. Conrad returned to Chubb in early 2018 as a GBU Underwriter, Property, NSW and was promoted to a GBU Senior Underwriter, Property role in June 2019. |
General Insurer of the Year 2018 and 2019
Chubb has been awarded the 2019 National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) Small/Medium General Insurer of the Year, following a survey of more than 4000 NIBA members.
