International Field Operations Officer

Christopher J. Giles, executive vice president, Chubb & Son, became international field operations officer in May 2009.  He oversees field operations for the Latin American, European, Asian / Pacific and Canadian zones.

From 2002 to 2009, Mr. Giles was president and CEO of Chubb Insurance Company of Europe SE.  Previously he was responsible for Chubb’s Asia/Pacific operations. 

Mr. Giles joined Chubb in 1995 to head up the company’s European Accident & Health business.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and social history from Nottingham University.
