Mark Korsgaard was elected an executive vice president and became the worldwide claim officer of Chubb & Son in December 2010.

From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Korsgaard served as worldwide third-party claim manager, responsible for directors and officers, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, general liability, excess/umbrella, errors and omissions, automobile liability, environmental and workers compensation claims. He was also responsible for Chubb Services Corporation. Mr. Korsgaard was the worldwide manager of casualty claims from 1999 to 2008, after serving in a variety of claim management roles in Boston, Phoenix, Westchester, NY, and the Warren, NJ, home office. He joined Chubb in 1981 as a claim examiner.

Mr. Korsgaard has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business administration from Upsala College.
