Chubb is committed to the professional development of Chubb brokers. Our learning and development (L&D) team offers a wide
range of educational opportunities. These programs are created to help brokers stay abreast of trends and changes in the
insurance industry. Our programs focus on technical insurance knowledge, management and leadership skills, and sales skills.
We utilise state-of-the-art design and technology to develop curriculum for broker executives, the broker management team,
experienced producers, new producers and support staff. Partnering with some of the best names in the industry, Chubb’s L&D
team offers our brokers a variety of courses in conveniently located venues.
Chubb L&D team has developed many learning opportunities. These include:
Chubb Masterclass Senior members of brokers’ and Chubb’s management work together to develop critical thinking skills and business expertise.
Maximising customer relations To enhance skills to enable more effective communication with customers internally and externally
Negotiation skills To develop negotiation skills and increase effectiveness by developing the ability to think and act differently during negotiations.
Broker education (product and sales) To help develop knowledge of Chubb’s products and therefore enable those speaking to new or existing clients to identify opportunities

Coaching skills To help individuals who have a responsibility for coaching others on a regular basis
Leadership development To provide the support and development necessary to help develop the potential and skills required for leadership
Training needs analysis Carried out at the brokerage to assist the department/team/brokerage with the identification and analysis of training requirements
within the business
Staff placement The opportunity to send a member of your staff on a temporary secondment to Chubb offices to gain experience. The placement
also gives us the opportunity for mutual understanding of our business models.
