Provision of the Data via this web site is voluntary. If you choose to apply for insurance then provision of data in the insurance application or proposal form is obligatory.  If you make a claim under a policy then provision of data is obligatory in the context of the claim. If you elect not to supply the Data as requested, your application or proposal for insurance coverage, claim under an insurance policy, or any other request, enquiry or complaint will not be processed.

Transfer of Personal Data

The Data you provide to the Company may be transferred to any parent, subsidiary or affiliate of the Company in Hong Kong or other jurisdictions having privacy laws which are substantially similar to, or serve the same purposes as, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap.486) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region . You acknowledge this and agree and consent to the transfer to and storage of your information in these jurisdictions.

Data Security

To maintain the accuracy of the Data, and to prevent unauthorised access to and ensure the correct use of the Data, the Company adopts appropriate physical, electronic and managerial measures to safeguard and secure the Data the Company collects.

The Data you provide to the Company will be stored at the Companies headquarters in the state of New Jersey, USA  for a period not to exceed twenty years, except as required by applicable foreign or domestic law, after which they will be destroyed. The Company has adopted precautionary measures to prevent against unauthorised access to the Data such as firewalls and encryption. However, complete confidentiality and security is not guaranteed especially on electronically held information. The Company does not provide any warranty against third parties hacking into the Data or unauthorised access to the Data. You acknowledge that the Data are disclosed at your own risk and may be subject to unauthorised use by others. This may result in you receiving unsolicited messages from other parties. The Company is not responsible in any manner for direct, indirect, special or consequential damages howsoever caused arising out of the provision of Data to the Company.
