Chubb Rolls Out Concierge Auto Claim and Repair Service
WARREN, NJ, January 16, 2007 - The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has completed a multi-state roll out of a program designed to enhance the claims
experience of auto insurance customers.
Chubb had been piloting Masterpiece® Auto Preference® Services program in 16 of its largest auto insurance markets. The program offers customers access to a network of preferred
repair shops, priority auto glass repair and door-to-door rental car services. Chubb has forged relationships with the program
participants to ensure that its customers receive priority and superior service.
"Masterpiece auto is already an industry leader by providing generous loss of use limits and original equipment manufacturer
parts. The MAPS program further supports the customer during the crucial time of a loss and is designed to minimize any customer
inconvenience," said William S. Crowley, Chubb's worldwide automobile claim manager.
MAPS is available to Chubb customers in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland,
Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. Chubb customers can choose any repair
shop inside or outside the network; however, Chubb guarantees the repairs done by the preferred auto body repair shops for
as long as the insured owns the vehicle. The preferred auto repair shops are selected based on their level of training, vehicle
expertise, quality of workmanship and customer feedback.
Chubb also recently added other capabilities to MAPS. It provided appointed agents and brokers online access to the MAPS network.
