Chubb Named One of 50 Best Employers for Latinas
WARREN, NJ, September 8, 2006 - LATINA Style has named Chubb one of the 50 best U.S. employers for Latinas. Chubb will be honored at an awards ceremony
on February 8 at LATINA Style's Diversity Conference in Washington, D.C.
"We are pleased to be recognized by LATINA Style as a company that has created an inclusive work environment for Hispanic
women," said John D. Finnegan, chairman, president and CEO, The Chubb Corporation. "We have found that being a good employer
is essential to attracting and retaining the level of talent needed to succeed in today's highly competitive marketplace.
Accordingly, efforts to leverage diversity will remain integral to Chubb's culture and business philosophy."
More than 800 companies responded to LATINA Style's ninth annual questionnaire. The magazine evaluated the companies on several
factors, including number of Latina executives and board members, availability of mentoring programs, educational opportunities,
alternative work policies, dependent/child care support, affinity groups, employee benefits, and relations with the Hispanic
community. The member insurers of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies form a multi-billion dollar organization providing property
and casualty insurance for personal and commercial customers worldwide through 8,000 independent agents and brokers. Chubb's
global network includes branches and affiliates throughout North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia.
