Connecticut Governor Proclaims March 16 'Chubb Celebration of Inclusion Day'
HARTFORD, CT, March 13, 2006 - Connecticut Gov. M. Jodi Rell has issued a proclamation naming March 16, 2006, "Chubb Celebration
of Inclusion Day."
"The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies is being honored for its 'Reach Up, Reach Out, Reach Down' initiative, which empowers
its employees to take charge of their own careers in an inclusive environment, while reaching out to and coaching their colleagues,"
noted Rell in her official proclamation.
Chubb's "Reach Up, Reach Out, Reach Down" corporate initiative earned it the 2006 Catalyst Award for the recruitment, development
and advancement of women in business. On March 16, employees in New Haven and Simsbury, CT, will simultaneously celebrate
Chubb's achievement of this prestigious award together with thousands of Chubb employees at more than 60 offices throughout
the United States and Canada.
