Chubb Provides Alternative Contact Information for Policyholders Unable to Reach Their Agent
WARREN, NJ, September 2, 2005 -- Several Chubb-appointed independent agents and brokers in the areas affected by Hurricane
Katrina are unable to provide their clients with insurance-related services.
In the event that Chubb's personal insurance policyholders are unable to contact their agents or brokers, they may call the
Chubb Customer Center at 1-800-777-2131. The center’s licensed insurance agents can assist them with claims, policy changes
and questions until the agents and brokers can resume their regular business operations. The center's operating hours are
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday (Eastern Time).
During the same hours Central Time, commercial policyholders who cannot contact their agents or brokers may call Chubb’s Houston
office at 1-800-766-6395 or 1-713-297-4600. Our Houston staff can assist with policyholder services and questions.
All personal and commercial insurance claims also can be reported anytime via telephone to 1-800-CLAIMS-0 (1-800-252-4670)
or on the Internet at www.chubb.com.
