E-Applications Make It Easier to Buy Chubb Liability Products
WARREN, NJ, June 2, 2005 - The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has launched electronic applications for their professional and management liability
insurance products on Chubb.com. Agents, brokers and customers can download and save the editable PDF files on their computers,
then complete and submit the applications to Chubb electronically.
"We are committed to making it easier for agents, brokers and customers to do business with Chubb," said Judy Cook, vice
president, Chubb & Son, and e-business manager, Chubb Specialty Insurance. "Chubb's new e-applications for professional and
management liability insurance products provide agents, brokers and customers with a fast and easy way to complete and submit
applications. No password or user ID is required. The application can be completed and saved on the customer's desktop and
shared via email. Once the agent or broker and the customer have completed the application, they simply email it to Chubb."
"The release of the e-applications, as well as the recent redesign of our web site, chubb.com, are the direct results of feedback
from our agents, brokers and customers," said Kathleen Tierney, senior vice president, Chubb & Son, and director of strategic
marketing, Chubb Specialty Insurance. "Both are important components of our on-line services and make it easier for producers
and customers to choose Chubb. They also help lay a foundation for future on-line enhancements."
The electronic applications are easily accessible from the new Forms & Applications page on chubb.com (http://search.chubb.com/formsearch/). Adobe Reader Version 6.0 or higher is required to electronically edit and save the applications. E-applications are currently
