Online System to Expedite Placement of Business Travel Accident Policies

WARREN, NJ, April 29, 2013 – A new online system from the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies will help U.S. agents and brokers rate, quote, bind and issue business travel accident insurance policies for small and mid-sized employers.

A&H u.writer simplifies the process and allows agents and brokers to reduce the amount of time and administrative cost of transacting this business,” said Dominick Zenzola, vice president and employee benefit manager of Chubb Accident & Health. “The system also will enable agents and brokers to easily view policy documents online without contacting an underwriter.”

Chubb’s business travel accident policy, BTA 360°, provides employees with worldwide insurance protection while they travel on company business. The policy includes coverage for accidental death and dismemberment, emergency medical and travel-related assistance services. It can also be enhanced to cover out-of-country medical treatment, political evacuation and war risk.

“As international travel becomes the norm, more companies are realizing that they have a duty of care and are responsible for helping protect their employees wherever business takes them,” said Zenzola. “The insurance and services afforded by a Chubb BTA 360° policy can become the most important component of an employer’s business travel risk management plan.”
