Baltimore Employees Prepare Breakfasts for Families at Ronald McDonald House

The Baltimore branch's Activity Committee kicked off 2012 by committing to make and serve breakfast one morning a month all
year-round to guest families at the city's Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore provide a home
away from home for seriously ill children and their families. It also helps to fund local-area programs that directly improve
the children's well-being.
In the program's first month, 11 employees volunteered an estimated 24 hours at Ronald McDonald House preparing and serving
breakfast; others donated an additional 20 hours purchasing and preparing food. The branch is continuing its participation
by providing Ronald McDonald House families with a Wednesday morning breakfast once a month.
"Seeing the smiles on the kids' faces is so rewarding. It is such a simple task for us but is so meaningful to the families
who are facing such adversity," says Phillip Wheeler, underwriting services associate, who helped organize Chubb's involvement
with the charity.
