WARREN, N.J., February 24, 2011 – The Board of Directors of The Chubb Corporation today declared a quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.39 per share payable
April 5, 2011 to shareholders of record on March 18, 2011. This represents an increase of $0.02 per share or a 5.4% increase
over the $0.37 dividend paid last quarter.
