Chubb Enhances Multinational D&O Claims Coordination
WARREN, NJ, April 23, 2010 - The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has taken another step in realigning its multinational resources for customers.
In response to evolving global market and regulatory trends, multinational directors and officers liability insurance claims
will now be handled by Chubb's Multinational Claims Unit (MCU).
"Moving global D&O claims under the auspices of the Multinational Claims Unit enhances claims coordination and reporting for
customers who insure international business risk and exposures through Chubb Multinational Solutions," said Kathleen Ellis,
senior vice president of Chubb & Son and Multinational Solutions manager.
Chubb's MCU offers one convenient resource for multinational claims coordination and reporting, as well as access to Chubb
specialists for property, casualty, foreign voluntary workers compensation and D&O claims. It features toll-free phone and
fax emergency reporting capabilities 24/7, 365 days a year. The MCU is supported by translation services in more than 140
languages.
The MCU is a part of Chubb Multinational Solutions, which works through Chubb's international network of branches, affiliates
and correspondent brokers to coordinate underwriting, claims and loss control for multinational customers. Previously, the
insurer integrated its multinational D&O underwriting into Chubb Multinational Solutions.
