Appraisers visit customers' homes to analyze contents and provide underwriters with an overall report on whether or not the
home should be insured through Chubb. On-the-job training and seminars provide a basic foundation for underwriting and appraisals.
In addition, field trips to museums, central station alarm companies and local fire departments reinforce the training. As
the learning experience continues, those who perform well in their roles will be given increased responsibility and the opportunity
to advance into a technical or management career role.

Our customers are generally affluent individuals who require broader coverage and outstanding service. It will be your responsibility
to cultivate strong relationships with independent insurance agents and brokers to learn more about their clients' needs.
On-the-job training will increase your knowledge of homeowner, personal article floater, personal automobile, personal excess
and yacht insurance. The learning experience continues with advanced training and leadership development opportunities.
As an underwriter's career progresses, there will be opportunities to apply for either a technical or management career role.
