Online Electronic Check Payment

To initiate an electronic transfer from your bank account using an electronic check, click here and be prepared to provide your bank account and routing numbers, located on the lower left area of your check. Your payment will be applied to your Chubb account on the same day it is processed.

Online Debit Card Payment

To make a same day online debit card payment, click here and be prepared to provide your policy number or direct bill account number and the zip code of your billing address. Chubb accepts debit cards displaying the MasterCard and Visa logos.

Pay by Phone

Chubb accepts both debit card and electronic check same day payments over the phone by dialing our toll-free automated telephone service at 800.372.4822. You may also use this service to check your account balance and verify that recent payments have been received.

Pay by Mail

Please make checks payable to Chubb & Son. To ensure timely crediting of your payment, please write your Chubb billing account number or policy number on your check and allow time for mailing.

If you are a business interested in making payment via a bank to bank wire transfer, please call 800.372.4822 for required bank information. Our Specialists are available Monday thru Friday, 8:00 – 6:00 ET.

Refund Policy

Refunds are automatically applied to either current payments due or pending future installments. Only when your account balance is paid in full will you receive a refund in the form of a paper check or as a credit to your debit card used to make the original payment. If you are entitled to a refund and prefer that it not be applied toward your account, please contact the Commercial Direct Bill Team at 800.372.4822.
