Chubb Commercial Insurance

Chubb’s Online Builders’ Risk System provides agents with the ability to quickly obtain a rate, quote, binder or policy for builders’ risk. Using the technology of our @chubb secure Internet platform enables us to effectively underwrite and process these policies. A submission entails just a few questions and takes less than 10 minutes.

This easy-to-use system includes a wealth of features, including:

  • Instantaneous quotes for qualified risks
  • Instantaneous print of a quote letter for quoted risks and a binder for bound policies
  • Order policies in real-time, policies follow within 72 hours
  • Process endorsements in real-time
  • Ability to add soft costs protection for various limits for both commercial and residential projects
  • Fully supported cancellation capabilities for flat and pro-rata cancellations
  • Acceptance of policy terms greater than 12 months (up to 15) for certain risks
  • The ability to retrieve all deductible options for a saved quote
  • The ability to add a loss payee to the policy

Our online builders’ risk products are available for commercial and residential builders.

Commercial Project Builders' Risk provides protection for contractors who build standalone commercial buildings such as high rise office buildings, retail stores, water and wastewater treatment plants, schools, and low-to-moderate hazard industrial facilities with contract values of $15 mllion or less.

Residential Project Builders' Risk provides protection for residential contractors or developers building single family dwellings less than $1 million in contract value.
