Using state-of-the art technology, RMIS Dimensions allows users to access customized loss information to help them better manage their insurance programs. This feature-rich tool was designed for companies with a sizable cost of risk who require direct and timely access to loss information. RMIS Dimensions allows users to manipulate complicated loss data quickly and efficiently. More specifically, it enables users to:

  • Analyze data to highlight areas of concern
    • Access daily updated loss information
    • Track deductible reimbursements
    • Reveal trends by “drilling” within a report to navigate from one level of information to a higher or lower level of detail
    • Sort data on up to three fields
    • Insert subtotals on data fields, including average, count, maximum, minimum, standard deviation and variance
    • “Drag and drop” columns and rows to arrange data in smaller, more manageable sections
  • Customize reports for a more professional look and feel
    • Build and save customized reports to be refreshed with new data at any time
    • Choose from more than 60 preformatted report templates (e.g., point-in-time, loss triangulation/stratification, financial overview)
    • Create sophisticated charts and graphs
    • Modify font and cell formatting
    • Export data to .XLS, .PDF or .CSV files allowing data to be saved, e-mailed and modified by anyone in the company
    • Establish a regular schedule of reports and receive e-mail notification when reports are available
  • Modify claim location codes to reflect the operational structure
    • Use the Location Maintenance Facility to create location codes for divisions, locations, departments, sections, regions or branches
    • Edit or delete components of the location code structure at any time
    • Assign a location to claims either one-by-one or on a global basis
  • Define and trend claim information
    • Customize Source, Target, Action, Result (STAR) data fields to easily group and trend claim information
    • Group STAR data to identify trends and problems
    • Add, modify or remove STAR codes at any time

Data Conversion and Consolidation Services

A data conversion and consolidation service is available to all clients. This service lets the user import historical loss information from a prior carrier, self-insured program or TPA system converted to RMIS Dimensions. Converting data to a singe risk management information system offers unparalleled benefit. It helps:
